With a heavy heart, we regret to announce the cancellation of our medical mission trip to Sumba Barat Daya this upcoming May. Due to the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, it would not be wise to push through with the trip. This was a difficult decision for us leaders. However, the health and well-being of everyone involved in the medical mission trip, both who are serving and those we serve is our utmost priority. On October 25 - 27, 2019, The HOPE’s leaders went on a scouting trip to Sumba Barat Daya to survey the location where we will be holding our sixth medical mission trip in May 2020. As we visited the various villages, we realized that behind all the beauty that Sumba holds, there is an unspoken need that our hearts can’t ignore. The people of sumba needs our help. They need you.
