This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, we were unable to conduct our annual medical mission trips but we have remained true to our vision and mission, which is to serve the underprivileged all around Indonesia. Thus, we shifted our course of action to conduct several projects which were still encompassed around the medical/health field.

PROJECT NOURISH

In collaboration with Kapiler Indonesia, a non-governmental organisation aimed at empowering orphanages around Indonesia, to support Yayasan Panti Asuhan Sakinah Depok. home to 35 children. With the help of our sponsors, we were able to conduct Project Nourish, a program whereby we created nutrition kits to further educate the orphanage children on the importance of healthcare. Through a Zoom call session with the children, we taught them various topics such as nutrition, staying active, hygiene, as well as COVID-19 protocols and measures that could and/or should be taken during this pandemic. We also donated medicines, hand sanitizers, masks and other daily necessities to support the orphanage and their children during these difficult times.

WATER TANKS FOR HALMAHERA

As a continuation of our partnership with Wahana Visi Indonesia, with your contributions, our team was able to help WVI provide 12 water tanks for schools in Halmahera Utara. During this pandemic, Halmahera Utara is categorized as a red zone, and all work activities were limited, including the educational process for the children there. With these funds, we hope that the schools in Halmahera Utara would be able to benefit from these water tanks in order to improve their lifestyle, and continue to follow hygienic protocols.
